Sales growth advisory

Sales growth advisor to founder-led B2B companies

Your revenue has a leak. You just don't have the time to fix it.

I find which driver is actually underperforming (new customers, retention or expansion), or I fix the pipeline nobody trusts. Then you get a plan you can run yourself.

The problem

You know the feeling.

A sales report on a desk with figures circled in pen, beside a laptop showing a bar chart
  1. Revenue moved, and nobody can say which part of it did the work.

  2. Deals sit in the same stage for months. Nobody can say why.

  3. What was “closing this month” two months ago is still “closing this month.”

  4. Nobody can say what separates a real deal from one that just looks real.

  5. The loudest problem gets fixed. The real one gets ignored.

You know something in your revenue is off. You just can't say exactly what.

What's actually going on

One revenue number can't tell you which driver is failing.

New customers, retention and expansion each carry their own weight, or they don't. A single total can't show you which one is slipping, so the wrong one gets the attention. Acquisition usually wins that fight because it's loud. Retention and expansion get ignored, right up until one of them turns out to be the reason growth stalled.

The pipeline has the same problem. It says one thing and the week says another, so every forecast turns into a negotiation. More activity won't fix that. Knowing which lever to pull first will, and so will a pipeline that tells you the truth.

There's a particular relief when the pipeline finally matches what's actually happening. You stop guessing, and the next move gets obvious.— MC

Who I am

I ask questions until the real leak shows up. Then we fix that one first.

I'm Mary Claire Mandeville. I work with B2B founders and small sales teams who know something in their revenue is off, but can't say exactly what.

I've spent nearly two decades in this work, including as a CEO and a CRO, with earlier roles leading sales, account management, and customer experience along the way. That range gives me a full view of an organization: the strategy that sets the direction, and the sales and delivery work that makes it real.

  • Sales-side work only: how you win customers, keep them and grow them. Not marketing spend, demand generation or channel strategy.
  • One flat fee. No retainer, and no pressure toward a bigger engagement.
  • A plan you can run yourself once we're done, not a binder you'll never open.

How it runs

Three sessions, and you're already moving.

A written plan within 72 hours.

  1. A working session.

75 minutes on what's actually happening: your goals, and how you win, keep and grow customers today.

  2. A written plan.

Within 72 hours, then 45 minutes together to decide the first move you're actually making.

  3. A follow-up.

A 30-minute call two weeks later to see what changed.

Stop guessing which part of the number is broken.
